Suzanne Tate, the well know Artisan is a well known writer of Outer Banks childrens books. She first came to Duck in 1953.  She has been a resident of North Carolina's Outer Banks for 50 Years.  This picture filled story of Duck, shows you a side of Duck's history that most people have not had the opportunity to see.
